Redshirt senior guard Trey Moss’ agency WEAVE announced Tuesday he is transferring to La Salle next season.
Moss started 14 games for the Revolutionaries in the 2024-25 season but redshirted this year due to an ankle injury. La Salle will mark Moss’ fourth stop on his journey through collegiate basketball, after he played at the University of South Florida, the College of William & Mary and GW.
La Salle finished last season 12th out of 14 teams in the Atlantic 10 and lost to the Revs by 22 points in January. Junior guards Trey Autry and Bubu Benjamin, redshirt sophomore guard Christian Jones, sophomore guard Ty Bevins and redshirt junior forward Garrett Johnson have all entered the transfer portal, though they have yet to announce where they will be playing next season.
Moss started his collegiate career in his home state at South Florida, where he averaged 1.2 points per game in his freshman season playing in all 31 games. After redshirting in his sophomore season, he transferred to William & Mary, where he eclipsed 20 points six times and averaged 13.5 points per game.
Despite his individual growth, William & Mary concluded the 2023-24 season with a 4-14 record in Coastal Athletic Association play and a 10-23 overall record, finishing 13th in the conference. After the season, Moss transferred to GW, drawn to Foggy Bottom because of his relationship with Head Coach Chris Caputo and Assistant Coach Dwayne Lee.
Throughout his time at GW, Moss was not able to mirror his individual success from William & Mary, where he was their second-leading scorer. Moss shot 37.6 percent from the field and 24 percent from beyond the arc in the 2024-25 season.
Moss is the fifth guard to announce he will either be transferring or entering the transfer portal, leaving Caputo with some work to rebuild the depth at the position in the offseason through the use of the portal.
