Women’s soccer added two new transfers last week, expanding its crop of newcomers to nine ahead of the upcoming fall campaign.
Graduate midfielder Ariana Gronauer and senior midfielder Lenea Guerrero are the latest additions to an incoming class featuring six first-years and one other transfer portal addition. After finishing last season 5-9-4 overall (2-7-1, Atlantic 10) for second to last in the A-10, Head Coach Jeremy Williams enters his second season leading the program looking for the newcomers to spark a turnaround in conference play.
Gronauer, originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, is coming to Foggy Bottom as a graduate student with just one year of NCAA eligibility remaining. In her senior year at Temple University, she made 12 starts, registering seven shots on goals across 10 total shots throughout the season. Before her transfer to Temple in her senior year, she played at the University of the Pacific for three seasons, notching three assists and two goals in 19 starts.
Guerrero, who hails from California, joins the Revs with two remaining years of eligibility after sitting out her junior season due to an injury. In her sophomore year at Youngstown State University, she started in six games, recorded four shots and one assist. In high school, Guerrero was a team captain and Hall of Fame inductee for Bishop Amat High School, finishing her varsity career with 41 goals and 50 assists, including 17 goals and 27 assists in her senior season.
Gronauer and Guerrero join junior Marley Gerber, who transferred to the roster in May from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Gerber started in 12 games across two seasons with the Spartans, recording 36 saves as a sophomore in 2025, with nearly an 80 percent save rate and finished the season with a 5-4-2 record in the net, allowing an average 1.07 goals per game in the net.
The recent transfer slate joins a group of incoming freshmen announced in November that includes three defenders and three forwards.
Sophia Michel, a forward from Bowie, Maryland, comes to the Revs from Elizabeth Seton High School where she played four years on the varsity team, was a three-year co-captain and became a three-time WCAC All-Conference honoree. Forward Ella Provost-Heron is coming to Foggy Bottom from Miramar, Florida, where she attended Somerset Academy Chapel Trail and was named Offensive Player of the Year in both 2023-24 and 2024-25, while also being named Team MVP during the 2024-25 season.
Forward McKenna Wickman is joining the Revs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after helping lead NSU University School to three District and Regional Championships, while also being named her team’s 2025-26 Team Captain. Defender Madison Dockery joins the Revolutionaries from Ashburn, Virginia, having attended Briar Woods High School and played for club teams Fairfax Union and the Virginia Development Academy, holding the title of two-time Mid-Atlantic Conference Champion and qualified for the ECNL Champions League in numerous of her high school seasons.
Kolby Moss joins the team from Atlanta International School in Atlanta, Georgia, as a defender who was named her team’s MVP her freshman season while also winning the title of Georgia’s Upper School Female Athlete of the Year following her sophomore campaign the next year. She was also named to the All-Region First Team in all three of her seasons playing at the varsity level.
Defender Halle Ostboe hails from Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California, where she was a three-year varsity starter for her high school, helping lead the team to a CIF-Southern Section Division I quarterfinal appearance in 2023 and a Bay League Championship in 2024.
