Alexander Price, the freshman arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, was kicked off the GW men’s water polo team, Director of Athletics Jack Kvancz said. Price was arrested at 2:30 Sunday morning in Thurston Hall and was released from jail after appearing in D.C. Superior Court Monday evening. Price was ordered to undergo drug testing. If the tests come back positive, he will have to enter a drug program, Judge Diane Brenneman said. Price is a scholarship athlete, Kvancz told The Hatchet Tuesday afternoon.
