Few tidbits from tonight’s basketball banquet. Karl Hobbs’ daughter signed a national letter of intent with George Mason to play basketball. The steals award went to Danilo (J.R.) Pinnock, the assist award to Carl Elliott, the free throw award to Maureece Rice, the strength and conditioning award to Pops Mensah-Bonsu, the defense award to Elliott, an award to Regis Koundjia, the rebounding award to Mike Hall, the rookie of the year to Rob Diggs, most improved player to Rice and the MVP to Omar Williams. The academic award went to Hall.
