Graduate students enrolled in a sociology class are working with libray staff to design the project and propose change to make class materials more affordable

Students with borrowed materials from Gelman Library will not need to make returns until they come back to campus.

The due date for borrowed materials has been extended to May 15, and materials will be renewed automatically until students return. Library officials will “communicate directly” with students not returning to campus because of graduating or “other circumstances.”

This announcement comes after the library closed last month to everyone except “designated staff” to promote social distancing. Remote resources through GW Libraries and Academic Innovation, like databases and research tools, remain accessible online.
