A kitchen fire broke out Friday afternoon at the State Plaza Hotel on F Street. Hotel workers and guests were evacuated as firefighters put up a ladder and entered the building. At the time, a D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman said emergency officials were examining two patients, but did not have any information about potential injuries.
