The University will host two open forums next month for its overhaul of the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
Senior Vice President for Student and Academic Support Services Robert Chernak said the forums are designed to solicit “feedback and ideas from a wide variety of stakeholders on Colonial Athletics, club sports, recreation, health and wellness, and many other facets of athletics at GW.”
The forums come on the heels of the University’s announcement that it will launch a broad review of GW Athletics, which will be overseen by New York Yankees Team President and alumnus Randy Levine. The forums will be held Tuesday, April 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Marvin Center Amphitheater, and Wednesday, April 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom.
For those unable to attend the forums who still wish to contribute to the review of GW Athletics, the University has created a GW Athletics Strategic Plan Website, complete with feedback forms.
