An unfortunate mistake

As seniors and graduate students received their degrees this weekend, The Hatchet was there. Our reporters, editors and photographer went to all of the graduations and ceremonies. All that is, expect for one. Due to a scheduling error, The Hatchet went to the School of Public Health and Health Services’ graduation ceremony after the event ended.

To the graduates, faculty, administrators and families in the School of Public Health and Health Services, this was not meant to be a slight toward your achievements. It was only an unfortunate scheduling mistake.

The Hatchet is working to obtain transcripts from the event and if you’re a public health graduate, please e-mail me at [email protected] if you are willing to share your experiences.

For families and students, one of our photographers was present and captured the event through photo. You can see them all at www.hatchetphotos.com and in our graduation ceremonies slideshow online.

If you have any questions, I can be reached at 202-994-1313.
