Junior Cathy Joens, who scored 18 second-half points in a win over St. Joseph’s last week, was named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week Monday. In her past two games, Joens averaged 24 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 4.5 assists in two conference games against St. Joseph’s and Duquesne. It’s Joens’s second A-10 honor. She shares the honor with St. Bonaventure’s Christina Cole.
