An average practice for the GW men’s basketball team lasts about three hours and includes drills, scrimmages and, sometimes, a kick in the butt from head coach Karl Hobbs. The Colonials also practice their favorite offensive play: the fast-break alley-oop. After practice, players spend time stretching with trainers and lifting weights.
