Lincoln Ball, a 6-foot-5-inch guard from Williamsport, Md., has committed to the men’s basketball program for the Class of 2024.
Ball announced he plans to commit to GW on Twitter Thursday. He is the first men’s basketball recruit for the Class of 2024.
“I’m fully committed to Coach Jamion and his staff at George Washington University,” Ball said in the tweet.
Ball averaged 18.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game as a junior for Williamsport High School, the Herald-Mail Sports reported Friday. He helped the Wildcats to an appearance in the 2AWest Region Final and a 19–6 record on the year.
Ball is the second basketball player to join the men’s basketball program under new head coach Jamion Christian. Shawn Walker Jr. committed to GW earlier this month after previously verbally committing to Siena – the program Christian formerly led.
The Colonials are set to return 10 members from the 2018-19 season roster. Sophomore guard Terry Nolan Jr., freshman guard Shandon Brown and freshman forward Marcus Littles will not return next season after announcing plans to transfer out of the program.
