Note containing swastikas, ‘offensive language’ found near SEH

A hand-written note containing swastikas and “offensive language” was found near the Science and Engineering Hall Sunday.

University spokeswoman Lindsay Hamilton said the note was found on the ground near SEH and reported to the University Police Department.

“The note does not contain specific threats, nor does it appear to be directed toward the University or a specific individual associated with the University,” she said in an email.

Hamilton directed anyone with information about the incident to call UPD.

The incident comes nearly four months after posters defaced with Nazi symbols and offensive statements were found in JBKO.
