Rhode Island Avenue’s Tiny House Community hosted tours Sunday, November 22.
The “Matchbox” was on display during the tour, described as D.C.’s smallest and most self-sustaining home, according to the event’s Facebook page.
“I wanted something that would be fully off-grid and self-sustaining that I could move around…And just something that would be simple,” said Jay Austin, “Matchbox” builder and owner.
