GW Students for Recovery hosted the organization’s first Recovery Day on April 23, raising awareness for the importance of mental health and substance use disorder resources on college campuses.
The day included panels and an evening reception with awards given to a GW student and administrator.
“It’s a day to talk about how important recovery is and to bring it into the spotlight,” Zoe Otis said, Students for Recovery’s VP of Marketing and Events.
