The D.C.-area school that’s sending the most White House interns this fall? It’s not GW – or Georgetown.
The White House released the list of its 2014 spring interns last week, and while GW, American and Georgetown all grace the list, its not in the order you’d expect.
Coming in above its high and mighty rivals, American tops the intern list with a grand total of 10 White House interns. GW boasted six, and Georgetown right behind with five.
A total of 140 students will work as unpaid interns for the Obama administration across agencies and departments, including the Office of the Chief of Staff, Office of the Vice President and the Office of the First Lady.
File this under further evidence of questionable college ranking lists, in which the University’s rankings on U.S. & World Report seem to be directly inverse to the number of students its sends to intern at the White House.
