Men’s tennis senior Ugur Atalay is the Atlantic 10 Men’s Tennis Performer of the Week, following his undefeated record at the No. 2 singles slot over the Colonials’ 4-0 record over spring break.

GW faced Florida Atlantic, Troy, Campbell and East Carolina over break, with Atalay defeating his singles opponent in each match. He joined with freshman Francisco Dias at the No. 1 doubles slot to earn a 2-2 record over the week, picking up victories over Troy and Campbell. Atalay’s record at No. 2 singles is 7-2 this season, and he is currently tied with junior Leonardo Lapentti for a team-high five-match winning streak that began Feb. 12 against Saint John’s.

Atalay and the Colonials next host three straight matches this weekend, starting with Georgetown Friday.
