Senior Katie Zulandt and sophomore Lauren Whyte were both named to the Atlantic 10 all-conference second team, the A-10 announced Thursday.

Whyte, an outside hitter, was an offensive force on the court this season for the Colonials, leading the A-10 in both points and kills. The Olmsted Falls, Oh., native had double-digit kills in 27 of GW’s 32 matches this season.

Zulandt, a middle blocker, led the Colonials in hitting percentage and blocks and was second on the team in kills and points behind Whyte. The senior didn’t play in either of GW’s final two games of the season after injuring her knee in the Colonials’ 3-1 loss Nov.7 at Duquesne.
