University Police Department officers responded to a report of a fight between two students in a relationship. Upon questioning, the male subject admitted to assaulting his girlfriend. UPD responded to a report of an intoxicated male student. Officers assessed the subject and found he was in need of medical attention, but when he was informed of this he became disorderly. UPD placed him in protective custody and transported him to GW Hospital. Referred to Student Judicial Services

During an administrative search of a room for a separate incident, a student admitted to having drugs in his room. GW Housing Programs conducted an administrative search and found 5.5 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia. Referred to SJS

UPD officers responded to a report of a suspicious odor coming from a room. GW Housing programs conducted an administrative search of the room and found four Adderall pills and 10.8 ounces of marijuana. Closed by arrest

UPD discovered lost property that contained drugs and paraphernalia. Inside the lost property was less than 1 gram of marijuana and a bag with cocaine residue. A female subject, unaffiliated with GW, retrieved her property and admitted the drugs were hers. Subject barred from campus

11/13/09 – Marvin Center – 11:38 p.m. – Case closed
UPD observed an intoxicated female individual in a semi-conscious state on a bathroom floor in the Marvin Center. She was assessed and transported to GW Hospital. Referred to SJS

UPD officers observed an intoxicated male, not affiliated with GW, in Ivory Tower. He was assessed by officers and then refused medical attention. Subject barred from campus
Robbery
11/11/09 – Off campus – 6:30 p.m. – Case closed
UPD was notified by a complainant’s parent that he had been robbed in a Metro station, but the parent did not know which one. Officers swept the Foggy Bottom Metro station for the complainant and found no one. The complainant was discovered to be an American University student. Closed, off-campus incident

UPD received a report from a student claiming she had last seen her jacket on the first floor of Gelman and went upstairs. She came back to find it missing. Closed, no identifiable subjects
