The Hatchet’s business office was able to convince Firefly in Dupont to sponsor about five more dates this semester. The way it works is that we have a running list of interested students and set them up according to similar interests, age etc. Then we give you a $50 giftcard to Firefly, have you meet somewhere on campus, let you go on the date alone and afterwards the reporter interviews you over the phone separately. So, hopefully, the students involved in this really do get to experience a real date and can meet someone new.
