The GW Hatchet would like to clarify that in the article (UPD and MPD investigate armed robbery) on the front page of last Thursday’s issue five reporters sought comment from employees in the GW Food Services office. Phone calls were unanswered, and upon several visits to the second-floor office employees refused to unlock the door.

Reporters also made several attempts to talk to employees in other offices on the second floor but were referred to University Relations.

Reporters do mention the University Police crime alert in the story. One suspect is described as a black man, at 6-feet 2-inches tall, with a medium build, according to a UPD crime alert, as appeared in the story.
