“All rising second year students have been assigned housing, and we are almost through the rest of the to be assigned list,” Seth Weinshel, director of GW Housing Prorams, said in an e-mail. “We are down to fewer then 60 students.”
Earlier in the semester, 700 students who applied for on campus housing were waitlisted, including 150 rising sophomores, who by D.C. zoning laws are required to live on campus.
As of the end of last month, 159 students remained on the wait list, including 19 rising sophomores.
