As renovations to the exterior of the Smith Center begin to take shape, the athletic department released some details Thursday about the most noticeable interior change being completed this summer: the installation of a new scoreboard.
As part of its phase three renovations to the 35-year-old Smith Center, the University will install four 10-by-15 foot LED video displays over center court as well as five digital scorers tables. The video system, which is being designed, manufactured and installed by South Dakota based Daktronics, Inc. will be amongst the most advanced in the country, the athletic department said in a news release.
