2/03 – Thurston Hall
A University Police officer on duty in Thurston observed a male student spitting on the floor in the Thurston lobby and asked him about it. The student denied the charge.

2/03 – Lisner Auditorium
An intoxicated patron of an event at Lisner Auditorium refused to return to his seat after being asked by auditorium staff to do so. He shoved and attempted to punch a UPD officer. The patron taken by the officer to the rear of the auditorium, where he proceeded to slam his own head into the wall after being placed in handcuffs. He was subdued by the officer and calmed down with the assistance of his family. He is not a GW student and was barred from campus by UPD.

The Community Living and Learning Center conducted an administrative search with the assistance of UPD. They found marijuana and paraphernalia in the room.

Harassment
1/31 – Thurston Hall
A female student reported that she is being harassed by her ex-roommate. The ex-roommate claims that the complainant still has some of her property and that the calls are being made to request the return of the property. The student reporting the harassment claims that she doesn’t have the property. The alleged harasser then filed her own report of harassment, alleging that she is still owed the property in question.

Robbery Force
2/01 – 1900 block of E street
A female student was robbed at 19th and E streets at about 10:20 a.m. She was distracted by an unknown female when an unknown male approached her and began punching and kicking her. She tried to put up a fight, but the subjects took her wallet with credit cards and cash and fled north on 19th Street. She reported it to Metropolitan Police, which notified UPD.

Threats
1/30/02 – Funger Hall
A complainant reported that the subject made verbal threats toward him. The complainant was issuing equipment for a class to the subject, and the subject was not satisfied with the equipment. He told the complainant that “if I have to come back to this office, then you will need to call the police.”

A male reported that an unknown male entered his home without permission. The male saw the suspect enter a basement entrance of his house through the kitchen window. When confronted, the man said he thought it was a hardware store. He then fled the house.

Liquor Law Violations
1/31/02 – Off-campus
MPD was transporting nine GW students that had been arrested for fraudulent identification at a local bar. On the way to the Second District station for processing, one of the students was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia. MPD contacted GW as they were transporting the suspects.
