For all of you (mostly me) who love pie more than anything, a new pie-centric store has just opened its doors on the up and coming H street (NE) corridor.

Dangerously Delicious Pies was started by some former Baltimore rockers, who called themselves The Glenmont Popes. You can pick up a whole pie to go, or sit and enjoy a slice with a cup of coffee.

Besides every type of sweet pie imaginable, including a White Trash Creme Brulee (full custom custard pie), the store also has quiches and savory pies, like a Pork BBQ Pie, Steak and Chili Pie, and Sausage, Tomato and Fennel Pie. Sweet/quiche pies go for $28 (slices $6) and savory pies go for $32 (slices $7.50). The store has late night hours on the weekends (till 3.am.), which makes for a great late night snack after checking out all the cool bars along the H Street corridor.
