Spring break is almost here, but even if you’re not going someplace warm there are still some things to look forward to:
- Sun-drenched indie pop outfit The Morning Benders are playing at the Black Cat March 11. With Miniature Tigers and Acrylics. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
- This will be one PETA-friendly fashion show: GW’s Humane Animal Treatment Society will be hosting “Fashion for Paws” March 11 in Betts Theatre. The show will feature clothing from local boutiques and performances by SPADE and GW Ballroom. Tickets are $5; all proceeds will benefit the Washington Humane Society.
And here’s some good news:
- They’re just jealous: The Washington Post has a slide show of last night’s Oscar fashion dos and don’ts, complete with snarky commentary.
