And the outlook’s pretty good:
Foggy Bottom fanfare:
- Just the title makes this sound worth it: “Arabs Gone Wild,” at Lisner Auditorium Jan. 30, is a night of comedy featuring Dean Obeidallah, Aron Kader and Maysoon Zayid. Tickets are $25 for GW students.
- “Medea,” Euripides’ classic Greek tragedy, will be playing all this weekend at Betts Theatre in the Marvin Center. Tickets are $5. Make sure to read the Hatchet’s preview of the show.
District must-dos:
- Just around the corner, The Bottom Line is hosting its 2nd annual “Dressed to get Laid” party Jan. 29, featuring $3 shots and $2.5o beers. No promises, of course.
- Razzmatazz, scheduled for Jan. 30 at the Black Cat, offers samplings of indie, glam, alternative and britpop – so you don’t have to choose.
