Last weekend’s Capital Classic in Greensboro, N.C., was cancelled because of inclement weather. The Colonials (1-5) were scheduled to play Georgetown Saturday and George Mason and the United States Naval Academy Sunday.
The tournament will not be re-scheduled. Four straight GW games have been cancelled since Sunday’s series finale with the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
The Colonials look to snap their four-game losing streak this week when they play their first two home games of the season at Barcroft Park in Arlington, Va. The team aims to avenge its Feb 20 loss to James Madison University Tuesday afternoon. The Colonials will then host the University of Maryland-Baltimore County Wednesday. Both games have 2:30 p.m. starting times.
