A little post-BB&T banter. In Monday’s paper, I wrote about the desire for the BB&T to morph into a city championship. Mike Wise wrote the same in a column in the Washington Post. Will anything come of it this time? Jim Larranaga told me he didn’t think so.

WaPo’s Kathy Orton wrote about Carl Elliott’s nickname (as did I, kind of. Link to come) and Maryland ‘just wasn’t getting shots” in its third consecutive loss in the BB&T. Check out Dan Steinberg’s blog for the eventuality of the D.C. area college basketball poll. Andrew Alberg and I both have votes and he is the inspiration for my link-laden post.
