Shawnta Rogers (1995-99; 5-4 guard; Baltimore, Md.). Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in 1999; led A-10 in assists and points senior year; led nation in steals; only three-time team MVP in GW history besides Mike Brown; GW career leader in assists and steals.

Jon Feldman (1959-62; 5-10 guard; Newark, N.J.). Averaged over 20 points all three of his seasons; topped 40 several times; two-time team MVP.

Joe Holup (1952-56; 6-6 center; Swoyersville, Pa.)

Mike Brown (1981-85; 6-10 center; East Orange, N.J.). Second on the all-time scoring list with 1,916 points; led team in scoring all four years; led team in field goal percentage three years; led team in rebounding four years; three-time team MVP; 1982 A-10 Rookie of the Year; was first or second team all A-10 all four years; played a decade in the NBA.

Yinka Dare (1992-94; 7-1 center; Kabba, Nigeria). Sports Illustrated Freshman of the Year; led GW in rebounding both years; led GW in scoring and field goal percentage in 1994; two-time team MVP.

Second Team

Pat Tallent (1973-76; 6-3 guard; Langley, Ky.). Third on the all-time scoring list; averaged 23.0 in 1976; led team in scoring three years; two-time team MVP.

Bob Tallent (1968-69; 6-1 guard; Langley, Ky.). Converted GW-record 284 field goals en route to averaging record 28.9 points in his one season.

Walter Corky Devlin (1952-55; 6-5 forward, Newark, N.J.). Played only three seasons, but is ninth on the scoring list; averaged over 20 points in last two years.

Yegor Mescheriakov (1995-99; 6-8 forward; Minsk, Belarus). Seventh on scoring list; in 1999 led team in rebounding and field goal percentage; as sophomore, led team in scoring.

Alexander Koul (1994-98; 7-1 center; Borovka, Belarus). GW career leader in field goal percentage, blocks and games started; sixth on scoring list; led team in rebounding and field goal percentage all four seasons;1995 A-10 Rookie of the Year.

Third Team

John Holloran (1973-77; 6-1 guard; Washington, D.C.). Averaged 21.4 points in 1977; shot better than 58 percent in 1976; led team in assists for two seasons; first team all A-10 in 1977.

Kwame Evans (1992-96; 6-6 guard, Baltimore, Md.). Fourth on the all-time scoring list; two-time first team all A-10.

Bob Faris (1936-39; forward; Fremont, Neb.). GW’s first all-American – Converse all-American third team; led team in scoring for two seasons.

Walt Szczerbiak (1968-71; 6-6 forward; Pittsburgh, Pa.). Averaged 22.8 points in 1971; team MVP two of his three seasons.

Mike Zagardo (1976-80; 6-10 center; Timonium, Md.). Two-time first team all A-10; Led team in scoring two years; led team in rebounding and field goal percentage three years; 13th on the scoring list.

Fourth Team

Alvin Pearsall (1990-94; 5-11 guard; Bartow, Fla.). Second on career assists list; only player besides Rogers to lead team in assists four years.

SirValiant Brown (1999-2000; 6-1 guard; Springfield, Va.). Was second in the nation in scoring with the third highest average in school history – 24.6; holds school record for points in a season at 738; holds Smith Center game record with 42 points; was 2000 A-10 Rookie of the Year.

Dirkk Surles (1989-93; 6-2 guard; Evansville, Ind.). Eighth on the all-time scoring list; led team in scoring for three years; first team all A-10 1992.

Les Anderson (1974-78; 6-4 forward; Washington, D.C.). Well remembered for his vertical leap and dunking; is 14th on scoring list.

Clyde Burwell (1972-75; 6-11 center; Philadelphia, Pa.). Averaged double-digit rebounds for three seasons; had school-record 33 boards in a game.
