Student Association Sen. Julie Bindelglass, CCAS-U and chair of the Finance Commitee, announced Tuesday night that she will run for SA president.
Bindelglass, a sophomore, said she wants to “take back the SA” and put it back into the hands of students.
“I am seeking the presidency because our student government belongs to all students,” Bindelglass said in a press release. “With a campus full of passion and talent we have the ability to create something uniquely ours. The Take Back the SA movement is about harnessing the rare aptitudes of every student. It is about a renewed commitment to making sure that everyone has their voice heard once again.”
Bindelglass is the third candidate to announce a run for SA president, alongside Executive Vice President Kyle Boyer and SA Sen. Nick Polk, U-at-Large and chair of the Rules Committee.
The elections will take place Feb. 25 and 26.
