GW announced a new official valet laundry service provider for the service Wednesday.
The service, DormAid, will wash, dry, fold and dry clean laundry for students who purchase the service starting Monday, according to an email announcement from GW Housing. The service will pick up a student’s laundry in a locked bag and return it cleaned within 24 hours, according to the email.
Prices for the service range from about $107 to $250, according to the service’s website. This spring, DormAid is offering a $20 discount for the service this semester, lasting six weeks. The company is also offering a $10 discount for students who preorder the service for fall 2016, according to the announcement.
Students said they were disappointed last semester when Revolt Cleaners closed in September, when students had already prepaid for the service. The company owned Soapy Joe’s, a similar service that students used.
