A student reported a sexual fondling at 24th and I streets early Friday morning.
GW sent a campus advisory to students through email and text message around 3 a.m. Friday morning, which described the suspect as an Indian man who is about 20 years old and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a red button-down shirt, khakis and a black backpack, according to the alert. The alert also said he did not have a weapon.
GW defines fondling as “touching of the private body parts of another person for the purpose of sexual gratification, without the consent of the victim.”
Reports of fondling on campus rose by 90 percent between 2013 and last year, according to security data released last week.
