If you’ve resisted changing to GW’s new wireless network, you’ll have to do so as you return to campus over the next few days.
The University is officially switching to GWireless, the network that launched in August, which students and employees can connect to directly with their NetIDs and passwords. In the fall, users could still connect to GW1X, which became unavailable at the end of 2014.
To connect to GWireless, users won’t have to install a third-party software like they did for GW1X. Once users log in once, their IDs and passwords will be saved.
