A female student reported that she was sexually abused Thursday in The Dakota.

The student reported to the University Police Department that her ex-boyfriend was abusive with her and inappropriately touched her after she told him not to, University spokeswoman Maralee Csellar said.

The student is not pressing criminal charges at this time, and the case was referred to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, according to the University crime log.

The report is categorized as sexual abuse and harassment involving email. Csellar said she did not have any additional information about the harassment.
