A Maryland mother has filed a federal lawsuit against a former part-time professor serving time in prison for possessing child pornography, WJLA reported Friday.

Diego Fasolini was sentenced to 47 months in prison in 2011 after an eight-month court case. As part of a plea deal, he admitted to possessing 600 images of child pornography on an external hard drive. Some of those images are allegedly of the Maryland mother’s children.

The mother, who was not identified in the report, said her children’s father abused them six years ago when they were four- and six-years-old and distributed images of them on the Internet.

Her lawsuit targets Fasolini, former Alexandria, Va. school teacher Justin Coleman and about 100 others, WJLA reported.

Fasolini was arrested in 2010 when a GW technical support analyst who was backing up his hard drive for him accidentally discovered the images and alerted the Metropolitan Police Department.
