The National Building Museum announced its summer exhibit which could prove to be even more Instagram-worthy than last year’s beach ball pit, the Washington Post reported Monday.
The installation, called “Icebergs” and designed by James Corner Field Operations, will exhibit the ominous effects that climate change has on glacial ice fields. The exhibit will open on July 2.
The exhibit is designed for visitors to feel like they are underwater, with beanbags scattered on the ground and a blue net above to symbolize the water line, the Post reported.
Thirty icebergs made of transparent panels will be arranged in the 12,540 square foot space. Visitors can also climb to the top of a 56-foot iceberg for a view of the blue landscape below, according to the Post.
Last summer the National Building Museum brought the beach indoors with its BEACH exhibit, which allowed visitors to jump into a ball pit ocean.
Tickets will cost $13 to $16, according to the National Building Museum’s website.
