D.C. area Girl Scouts joined up with female GW students for a series of confidence-building workshops through performance art.
Senior Corinne Zmoos, project manager at Girls Rock D.C., put the program together after getting a $1,000 grant from the Confidence Coalition.
The Girl Scouts rotate through various singing, dancing, songwriting and acting workshops run by GW student groups.
“Knowing myself, music is what makes me confident,” Zmoos said. “I wanted to be able to give that to the girls in the surrounding area.”
