Students will no longer have to take the Vern Express to get their turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwich fix.

Jetties, the popular sandwich shop at 1609 Foxhall Road near the Mount Vernon Campus, will open a fourth shop at 20th and I streets, according to the Prince of Petworth blog. This will be its third location in the District.

The eatery will fill a space left by Juice Zone, which closed in October 2011. The new restaurant will seat about 15 customers, according to the building permit.

Jetties employees could not be reached for comment.

The Hatchet incorrectly reported that the Foggy Bottom shop would be Jetties’ second District location. It will actually be the third.
