Students can now pay for their favorite tubs of frozen yogurt flavors – doused with toppings – with GWorld.

The self-serve shop FroZenYo at 1634 I St. will now accept GWorld, along with three other nearby vendors, the program’s deputy director Steven Nichols said. Students will also be able to pay with their Colonial Cash plans at the Kogan Coffee cart on H Street, Newton’s Noodles and Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop.

Nancy Haaga, director of campus support services, said “there are conversations with Chipotle” at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave., but the restaurant, which opened in October, does not yet accept GWorld.

But two other restaurants that recently came to Northwest D.C. have joined the program.

Newton’s Noodles at 1129 20th St. features a signature dish called Fuzu. Customers are free to choose noodle type, sauce, spiciness, vegetables, meats and toppings. The restaurant is also known for setting tables with “Chorks” – a hybrid chopstick and fork. Meal prices range from $8 to $12, and the eatery will soon deliver.

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop on M Street will take GWorld after it sets up a swipe machine. The chain is a favorite of Vice President Joe Biden, who is a fan of “the Bobbie,” a turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing sandwich. Hoagies, made with 9, 12 or 20-inch rolls, cost between $8 and $17.
