The  “No More Names: National Drive to Reduce Gun Violence” bus tour took its final stop in D.C. on Thursday – just three days after the Navy Yard shooting that killed 12 people.

The group urged Congress to reconsider gun background check legislation.

“This is too important of an issue to step aside from, even one more day,” said Rev. Elliot Blocker from the Arkansan Pastors for Gun Sense.

The bus tour, organized by the Mayors Against Illegal Guns coalition, has conducted rallies in 25 different cities over the past 100 days.  Other speakers at the rally included Aurora theater shooting survivor Stephen Barton and Carlee Soto, sister of shooting victim and Sandy Hook Elementary School teacher Victoria Soto.
