The GWU Surfrider Foundation Club hosted a waterway clean-up event at the Georgetown Waterfront on Saturday, Nov. 16. The club, a chapter of the non-profit Surfrider Foundation, hosts monthly trash pick-ups for students to participate in and uphold the chapter’s mission of keeping the District’s waterways clean.
