Officials will begin renovating the University Student Center, Gelman Library and Rome Hall to repair roofs and update HVAC systems Saturday.

Officials will close blocks on H and I streets on several days in July and August while construction workers use crane lifts to update roofs on all three buildings, the Office of Government and Community Relations announced in a GW community newsletter last week. Officials will close I Street between 21st and 22nd streets for repairs at the student center on Saturday.

Officials will also close the area on July 27 for additional student center roofing upgrades, as well as H Street between 21st and 22nd streets for renovations at Gelman Library and Rome Hall.
