Returning this year to an in-person setting, AFSP’s annual Out of the Darkness walk aimed to bring suicide loss survivors together and to fundraise for suicide prevention initiatives led by the organization. GW’s AFSP chapter joined the National Capital Area Chapter, and organizers from each discussed the importance of events like these to the GW community and to the D.C. region at large.
