Students dreading an 8 a.m. class can sleep in Wednesday morning.
The University will not open until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after rain and snow hit the D.C. region Tuesday night, according to a campus advisory issued at 10:26 p.m. The weather prompted an early closure Tuesday afternoon, when all offices shuttered at 12:30 p.m. and classes were canceled after 2 p.m.
Classes and activities scheduled before 9:30 a.m. on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses, the Biostatistics Center and the Alexandria and Arlington graduate education centers will be canceled, according to the advisory.
The Virginia Science and Technology Campus will be closed all of Wednesday, the advisory states.
