A suspect stole multiple items from a car in front of Lisner Hall Friday afternoon, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
The victim parked his Nissan Murano on G Street near Lisner Hall at about 12:30 p.m., but when he returned about two hours later, the rear passenger window had been smashed, and two backpacks from the back seat of the car were gone, the report states.
A stolen black backpack contained a MacBook, a wallet, a credit card and clothes. A purple backpack contained miscellaneous personal items, like a Seagate external hard drive, a Kindle and prescription medications.
MPD is looking for a suspect for charges of destruction of property less than $1,000 and theft from a motor vehicle, the report states.
