Multiple items were stolen from the GW Newman Center Tuesday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 10:33 a.m., MPD received a report that an unknown person entered the Newman Center, a townhouse formerly occupied by the GW Catholics. The building currently does not have residents and is only accessible to authorized employees, the report states.
The suspect took a checkbook, Visa credit card, roughly 400 euros, a safe, a camera, an electronic keyboard and a guitar, according to the report.
There was no forced entry into the building, the report states.
GW Catholics was forced to evacuate the Newman Center in January after severe winter weather caused water damage, burst pipes, cracked radiators and a broken boiler in the townhouse.
