Kick off your weekend with some comedy by Kathleen Madigan. The comedian’s 25-year career includes two USO tours in Iraq and Afghanistan alongside comedians like Robin Williams and Lewis Black, as well as appearances on almost every late-night show. Madigan’s “Bothering Jesus Tour” finds humor in subjects like religion and Madigan’s home state of Missouri. Madigan wrote and produced her own comedy specials, including “Madigan Again,” which have appeared on HBO and Comedy Central .

After Hours Private Scavenger Hunt at Madame Tussauds
Visit the life-like museum after hours for a thrilling scavenger hunt. After assembling a team, you will get a list of tasks to complete and must return to the meeting point in the designated amount of time. You and your teammates will wander the museum halls and face a series of tasks, clues and trivia while interacting with the famous wax figures. You will tee up against characters like Tiger Woods and come face-to-face with ex-FBI director J.Edgar Hoover. First prize is free admission to the annual black tie gala at the Embassy of France in April.

Free Zumba at The Kennedy Center
Take the stage at The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage this weekend for a free Zumba class. The class is hosted by the Zumbadoras of Joy of Motion Dance Center, a center with multiple locations around the District. During the class, you’ll dance for 60 minutes to salsa, merengue and a fusion of Latin music. This event should heat you up in even the coldest D.C. winter weekend.
