A man was arrested for unlawful entry after he was found lying on the service grate on the 23rd Street side of Ross Hall Sunday night, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
University Police Department officers Craig Thomas and Edwin Johonnott noticed Ramsey Williams, 45, on the grate, according to the document and an MPD Second District arrest report. The officers attempted to make contact with and check in on Williams before finding out he had previously been barred from campus.
Williams was arrested at about 7:13 p.m. and taken to the GW Hospital emergency room. He was released and taken to the Second District police station at about 9 p.m., the report stated.
Williams is scheduled to appear in the D.C. Superior Court on March 28 for a mental observation hearing, according to the court’s website.
This is the second arrest for unlawful entry outside Ross Hall this week after a man was lying outside the building Thursday.
