A man barred from campus last September was arrested outside of Ross Hall Thursday for unlawful entry, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
University Police Department officers Joseph Sneddon and Bengyella Doh reported to the 23rd Street side of Ross Hall at 1:07 p.m. after receiving reports of loitering, the report stated.
The officers came in contact with Donald Coleman, 56, “lying” along the building, who provided the officers with his identification after they asked, according to the document and a MPD Second District arrest report.
Sneddon asked Coleman if he had previously interacted with UPD or been barred from campus and Coleman responded, “Yes,” according to the report. After a records check, Sneddon determined Coleman had been barred on Sept. 16, 2016.
The report stated that Sneddon then arrested Coleman, and MPD transported Coleman to the Second District station. Coleman will appear in D.C. Superior Court on April 14, according to the court’s website.
