GW’s fundraising campaign is about $32 million short of its $1 billion goal, University President Steven Knapp announced at the Board of Trustees meeting Friday morning.
Knapp said donations to the campaign had reached $968 million as of Friday.
The campaign launched in 2014 and aims to reach its goal by June 2018.
Roughly $16 million has been raised for the effort since Jan. 25. More than 62,880 donors have so far supported the campaign.
